The Australian Government introduced a legal requirement for all Directors of Australian registered Companies last year, whereby requiring them to apply for a Director Identification Number (DIN) which is held for life. If this applies to you, please note it is the Directors responsibility to ensure they update their details on an ongoing basis, particularly change of name.

To update simply log in to the ABRS—https://mygovid.gov.au/AuthSpa.UI/index.html#login

Once you log in you can update and review all your details.

Please note, if you are unable to log in head here to find out how you can alternatively update your details:

Directors must notify their company of any change in details within 7 days. Please contact our office if you have any change in details.
